Jobs Description:
- Review and implement policies and processes related to Treasury functions with specific focus on funding, risk identification and mitigation, liquidity position and capital management, in line with regulatory guidelines.
- Implement long terms and short-term funding strategies to manage the Company’s liquidity position and deploy excess liquidity into optimum earning assets; actively rationalize banking cost through standard professional applications.
- Enhance timely and accurate cash flow forecasts in close coordination with Finance; leveraging technology for greater efficiency and review funds position to meet daily Statutory Liquidity Requirement (SLR) and Cash Reserve Requirement (CRR) mandated by State Bank of Pakistan. Review identified indictors for performance, track results and implement metrics for robust reporting framework.
- Monitor all transactions of the Treasury Group within the framework set by management and compliance of SBP’s rules & regulations. Oversee the daily online report of MMCRS to SBP, investment position, mutual funds investment position on weekly basis along with RTGS transactions for investment, interbank and transfer of funds. Coordinate and organize meetings of ALCO Committee as a Secretary.
- Prepare investment schedules on monthly basis containing details of profit earned/accrued and tax deducted. Review quarterly statements of withholding income tax for Finance Group.
