Assistant Director/Deputy Director as Cybersecurity Assessment & CERT Specialist-Islamabad

Security Exchange Commission of Pakistan                Qualification:

• Masters/04 years Bachelor’s degree (equivalent to 16 years of education) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electrical/Computer/Telecom Engineering or other related disciplines from HEC recognized reputable university/institute

Experience:

• Minimum Six (06) years of post-qualification experience on the last date submission of application for Deputy Director. Age: 40
• Minimum Three (03) years of post-qualification experience on the last date submission of application for Assistant Director Age: 35
• Hands on experience of working in Security Operations Centre with SIEM / SOAR environment.
• Deep knowledge of threat Hunting and threat Analysis.
• Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure and networking.
• Good knowledge of Cybersecurity concepts and solutions like Firewalls, DLP, AV/EDR/XDR, IPS/IDS, MDM, IAM, APIs and others.
• Certifications & trainings like CEH / CHFI / GCIH / CISSP / CSA (Certified SOC Analyst) and similar will be an advantage

Jobs Description:

• Conduct audits of Infosec system/solutions for configurations / parameters settings, system architecture reviews and assessment of Infosec system performance and effectiveness with an objective to bring in standardization and continual improvement.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT). Generate VAPT reports covering severity-wise vulnerabilities along with recommendations to address them.
• Conduct Cyber Threat Hunting using Infosec solutions, tools and techniques • Conduct Infosec related Log analysis, correlation and investigations.
• Evaluate and assess Infosec requirements for various initiatives/projects and give Infosec clearances.
• Provide first line of Incident response, handling and investigations and Be part of the organization’s CERT.
• Manage Sectoral CERT in coordination with national and Local CERTs and handle all the cybersecurity advisories and Write technical specifications and requirements in the form of RFP/RFQ and do vendor and service provider management through effective SLAs and OLAs.
