Assistant Engineer Electrical & Instrumentation-POL, Rawalpindi

Experience:

Minimum 08 years of relevant experience in oil & gas, fertilizer, chemical or petrochemical industry

Skills:

Have basic knowledge and experience of Oil & Gas production, process and utilities systems, operations and wells. Sound knowledge, experience and skills for operation and maintenance of Electrical and Instrumentation.
Should have sound knowledge and skills for the maintenance and troubleshooting of transmitters, switches, control valves and analyzers. Hands on experience on maintenance of switchgear, MCC, Motors, Transformers, Generators, power generation and distribution network.
Knowledge of parameters and operation of Engines and Compressors. Should have sound understanding of Safety standards and procedures, PTW and PPEs related to Oil and Gas sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth operation of power house of respective field.
Perform maintenance of Motors, Generators, Transformers and Electrical systems.
Perform maintenance of HT and LT overhead electrical lines.
Perform maintenance of Electrical switchgear and substation and identify, investigate and rectify Electrical breakdowns or tripping and Diagnose the facts and root cause of emergencies and prepare mitigation plans.
Perform the troubleshooting & rectification of Electrical & Instrumentation related faults.
Prepare & manage preventive maintenance plans of Electrical and Instrumentation system.
Re-ordering levels of parts in hand for emergencies & preventive and routine maintenance.
Update the drawing & documents according to design changes incorporated in the project.
Identify and manage the resources required for the project.
Preparation of audits and inspection by 3rd party auditor or inspector and Maintain up-to-date documentation for OGRA, OHSAS and CIM Audits
