Assistant Manager Pharmacy-Karachi

For Raiwind Hospital, Lahore by Indus Hospital, Karachi                 Qualification:

• Pharm-D preferably MBA (Hospital/Health care Management)

Experience:

• Minimum 05 years of relevant experience out of which 02 years in managerial capacity                      

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control inventory of the Pharmacy Store, and supervise the In-Patient, ER Pharmacy, MDR-TB, Hepatitis drug management units & Cath lab Pharmacy services activities. Monitor and visit all Pharmacy locations daily;
• provide reports to Manager Pharmacy amd Maintain proper records of store documents including intra & inter departmental documents. 
• Mentor and guide the Pharmacy staff with respect to all aspects of drug management, Inventory control, providing technical and administrative support when required.
• Ensure implementation of departmental SOPs  and utilization of resources as approved. Arrange audits, recheck & forward reports of KPIs of all Pharmacy locations. Monitor and maintain records in the system and departmental stock level authorization (with Manager approval).
• Prepare and forward the purchase requisitions to Manager Pharmacy as per par level of store items. Liaison with suppliers (following protocols), prepare Goods Receiving Note (GRN) and update the store inventory. Review all documents before forwarding to Manger Pharmacy for approval. Maintain records and provide copies of all relevant documents to Accounts for billing purposes. Supervise and monitor stock levels of all Pharmacy locations each month, providing reports to Manager Pharmacy.
• Prepare monthly reports for Manager Pharmacy (of fast moving / slow moving / short expiry / expired / broken, damage items). Supervise and manage Pharmacy Internship program. Arrange and document minutes for weekly and monthly departmental meetings. Assist Manager Pharmacy in preparing Hospital Formulary, maintaining and updating documentation for further action. Arrange inspection of nursing units and clinics to monitor the proper storage and distribution of patient floor stock, controlled drugs and emergency medications. Prepare and provide HR and all Pharmacy locations with the department monthly roster (with Manger Pharmacy approval).
