IRD Global Health, Research and Development, Singapore Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Experience:
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience as an SQA Engineer or similar role. Hands-on experience in testing REST & SOAP APIs. Skills: Solid understanding of software testing principles, QA methodologies, and SDLC/STLC.
Jobs Responsibilities:
- Familiarity with automation scripting and programming basics (preferably in Java). Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. Working knowledge of databases (MySQL preferred). Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test plans across multiple testing types (Smoke, Regression, Functional, System, Stress, Scale, & Sanity).
- Perform API testing (REST/SOAP) using tools like Postman and SOAPUI. Conduct performance testing using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, etc. Carry out regression testing to validate new releases and system updates. Identify, log, and track bugs and work closely with developers for timely resolution.
- Actively contribute to process improvements, QA best practices, and test automation initiatives. Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously explore new tools, technologies, and methodologies.
- Ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
