- 3 years of experience as a business development executive or related research-based organization / consultancy firm
- Key role in supporting the policy advisory board to identify and secure funding, research grants and consultancies
- Identify research grant opportunities, stimulate interest amongst team members and assist in the definition and completion of major funding applications
- Develop and manage links with external organizations to promote collaborative research projects and manage opportunities for consultancy and exploitation of research generated intellectual property
- Write proposals, obtain funding and implement contract research and undertake multi and inter-disciplinary, collaborative research project opportunities
