- Masters with 16 years of education in Geology or relevant qualification from Higher Education Commission recognized University
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience (post qualification) Geosciences professional with a track record of driving and leading minerals exploration function in the mining industry.
- Must have experience of exploration and evaluation of metallic resources using latest industry techniques.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Supervision and coordinating geological exploration activities to identify and evaluate potential mineral deposits and Managing the process of resource estimation to assess the size, grade, and economic viability of mineral deposits.
- Ensuring proper collection, storage and analysis of geological data to support decision-making processes.
- Overseeing geotechnical studies to assess the stability and integrity of mine structures, including pit walls, waste dumps, and underground workings.
- Preparing technical reports, including exploration reports, resources estimation reports, and geological interpretations, for internal use and regulatory compliance and Providing guidance, mentoring, and training to junior geologists and technical staff to enhance their skills and knowledge in geological exploration and resource estimation.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and environmental standards related to geological exploration and resource development
