- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 10 years experience with strong international experience. Pre and post contract experience working for Cost Consultants, Employer’s/Developers/end users, Contractors or Project Managements Consultants essential. Membership to RICS, CIOB or equivalent is desirable. Strong background and understanding of FIDIC forms of Contract. Knowledgeable in all contractual & legal matters relevant to the industry, including claim management. Competent IT user. Have a perfect knowledge of excel software, and be very familiar with arithmetic.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare for review Recommendations for Release of Retention and Bonds.
- Prepare monthly Cost Reports and contribute as necessary to risk and other reporting. Assist, review, and approve the preparation of Monthly Progress Reports. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of Engineer’s Instructions, Variation Orders and Claim Logs and Prepare procurement strategy documents. Prepare and manage the procurement schedule.
- Manage and advise on procurement as necessary, including review of documents for issuing to bidders and preparation of Tender Reports and other documents for assessment of tenders.
