Data Center Technician (HVAC)

National Telecommunication & Information Security Board (NTISB) open merit Qualification:

Minimum 14x years having major in electrical / electronics, relevant certifications in HVAC / DAE will be a plus. Certification from a recognized HVAC vocational

Experience:

Minimum of 06-year experience in IT / Power equipment, Infrastructure and system architecture of data center and 2-3 years of experience as a data center technician, or work experience in facilities maintenance at Hospitals, shopping malls, airports & high-rise buildings.
Experienced in routine preventive and corrective maintenance activities related to heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems
Experience of handling customer complains
Hands-on experience of MS Office Two years of supervisory or leadership experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults of HVAC systems.
Performed repairs promptly and efficiently.
Good knowledge and hands-on experience of proper management of the inventory including equipment, tools. In depth knowledge to comply with Occupational Health and Safety standards.
Monitoring HVAC equipment and levels as it pertains to Data Center optimal performance.
Keeping daily logs and records of corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
Must have relevant on-site maintenance experience. Analyze building plans to determine the number of HVAC units required for each room or floor of a building and Provide off-hours Service Desk coverage
Inspect equipment such as chillers, boilers, air handling units, and refrigeration equipment.
Install and maintain HVAC and all other cooling, heating power equipment.
Monitor network stability and performance to ensure 24×7 operations and resolving service impacts as they occur. Handling of staff/team at customer site Knowledge of HVAC systems and Knowledge of computer systems i.e, MS Office, Outlook etc.
Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work
