• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in geology

Experience:   

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the Exploration and Production (E&P) sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely provision of complete geological analysis in subsurface maturation work for appraisal / development wells.
• Possess comprehensive understanding of petro-physical analysis, reservoir characterization, and static models utilizing Petrel suite of Software. Able to develop structural and stratigraphic well cross sections to develop stratigraphic framework to assist in reservoir characterization. Capable of Integrating geological, petro-physical, geophysical and other field data as required to understand both regional geology and reservoir architecture.
• Capable of performing well log interpretation and resource estimation using industry standard software.
• Able to prepare well prognosis, logging program, as well as monitor well operation during drilling to ensure planned trajectory is achieved.  Able to provide geological input in maturing well intervention plans such as water shut off, re-perforations, additional perforations, etc. Possess solid understanding of preparing proposals for G&G studies and coordinating internal or external execution. QC the deliverables and apply study findings to new wells in the field.
• Contribute proactively to technical proposals, reports, and presentations to partners (workshops/TCMs), internal processes (assurance/peer Review) and technical authorities as requested.
• Able to assist in collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage project progress.
