- Bachelors or master’s degree in geology, applied geology, earth sciences
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in the mining sector. Candidates having working experience of geophysical data acquisition, processing, and interpretation will be preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Capable of planning and executing geophysical surveys including electrical resistivity, seismic, magnetic, and gravity methods.
- Able to process and interpret geophysical data to support exploration and drilling activities. Capable of integrating geophysical data with geological information to refine subsurface models.
- Able to generate technical maps, profiles, and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Able to collaborate with geologists, engineers, and GIS specialists for comprehensive assessments.
- Capable of working independently in remote field locations under challenging conditions.
- Capable of designing, executing, and interpreting geophysical surveys for mineral exploration and geological assessments.
