- Bachelor’s Degree in a closely related field.
- Member of an appropriate professional organization.
Experience:
- Fifteen (15) years of experience; Ten (10) years of them within the field of Instrumentation & Control Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.
- DCS experience required and Fire & Safety experience mandatory and Extensive experience in Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbons, and/or Infrastructure industries FEED, Detailed Design Engineering / Design experience required.
- PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.
Technical Knowledge and Skills (Discipline Specific):
- Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.
- Fire Protection, Fire & Gas detection experience in the design of Fire Protection system. Process Safety Studies, utilities and offsite facilities experience at the conceptual, FEED, or detailed design stage of medium to large size projects.
- Knowledge of process safety & Fire engineering practices, economics principles, calculation methods, international standards, codes, specifications, and procedures..
- Ensure Pre FEED Preliminary Hazard Assessment recommendations are included in FEED deliverables.
- Check, review and approve all Technical safety deliverables by FEED contractor. Strong knowledge in Fire and Gas protection, FW network and HSE studies and workshops ( HAZID, HAZOP, SIL etc.)
