• High school diploma or equivalent. Certification from an accredited automotive training program.

Experience: 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a mechanic, with a focus on diagnostics and repairs.
• Industry experience in automotive repair shops or dealerships with strong knowledge of various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.  

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on various types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot problems.
• Order and replace faulty parts as necessary.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance work and train and mentor junior mechanics.
• Ensure a safe and clean working environment.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and answering questions.
