Qualification:
- MBBS with MCPS in eye care from reputable local or foreign institutions/ universities recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan
Experience:
- one-year post MCPS experience at a private/ public tertiary care hospital. Registration with PMC is mandatory.
- Possess experience of structured training as per CPSP guidelines in a reputed general or teaching hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure high quality care to eye patients at OPD and IPD levels and Conduct routine eye examinations and perform ophthalmic procedures.
- Well-versed with ophthalmic eye equipment.
- Familiar with latest trends in care, diagnosis, and treatment of eye disorders and Able to implement plans and procedures for ophthalmologic services.
- Able to handle/ supervise all types of medical emergencies with BLS and ACLS certification.
- Capable of working as an effective and safe team player and train others.
- Computer literacy and working experience in HCMS (Healthcare Management System) would be preferred.
- Able to properly handle clinical information and documentation
