- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
- Professional engineering experience, ideally in the energy industry. Software experience (e.g. Hysys / Unisim Steady State & Dynamics, Aspen Plus, Cost Estimating, Pipesim) or in-house developed software (e.g. ADEPT, GEM); Running of standard industry (i.e. Hysys) and proprietary in-house software.
- Performing engineering calculations (Production of engineering documents e.g. P&IDs, data sheets).
- Production of technical notes for reporting of study results.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process design for oil and gas and energy transition projects and Process system modelling and optimizations and Operations support troubleshooting.
- Facility capacity rating, debottlenecking and bench-marking and Life extension and asset rationalization.
- Thermodynamic fluid properties & phase behavior.
- Designing utilities and support systems.
- Modelling and analysis of steady state for process plant
- Assessing key uncertainties impacting production system development and Client team support
