Procurement Officer FM-Doha, Qatar

• BBA / MBA in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.

Experience: 

• 3–5 years of experience in FM procurement (soft and hard services) in Qatar. Strong understanding of FM service operations and consumables. Familiarity with ERP/procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).  Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills. Knowledge of FM services and materials.
• Market research and vendor evaluation.
• Cost control and commercial awareness.                                              

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, consumables, equipment, and subcontracted services while maintaining compliance with company standards and operational needs.  FM-Specific Procurement: Procure materials and services related to cleaning, security, landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, BMS, pest control, and other FM activities. Coordinate with FM Operations and Maintenance teams to understand requirements and specifications. Source consumables and equipment such as tools, chemicals, uniforms, cleaning machinery, filters, etc.
• Supplier Sourcing & Evaluation: Identify and maintain a network of reliable suppliers and service providers across FM domains. Send inquiries, collect quotations, and prepare comparative analyses to select the best value options. Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
• Purchasing & Documentation: Prepare purchase orders and ensure approvals in accordance with procurement procedures. Track order status, manage delivery timelines, and handle delays or discrepancies. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, pricing, and supplier agreements.
• Coordination & Compliance: Collaborate with warehouse and store teams to manage inventory and stock levels. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, HSE standards, and client requirements. Support audits by providing necessary procurement documentation and data.
