Primary Care Program Community Health Directorate (CHD), Indus Hospital, Karachi Qualification:
- Masters in public health related degree (MPH, M Sc, MS, foreign degree holder)
Experience:
- At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in development health sector out of which 5 years in Managerial capacity
Jobs Description:
- Concept note and proposal writing for donors
- Oversee the implementation of key programmatic components of the Public Health Programs
- Develop project plans and budgets, contributing towards an overall health program plan and master budget.
- Lead new public health project assessments in coordination with other IHHN thematic areas and/or other external health agencies, ensuring assessment findings are documented and that all assessments include a specific analysis of Community needs.
- Liaise with all departments of Community Health Directorate and IHHN for program related activities
- Liaise and timely communicate with stakeholders (public and private hospital leadership, donors etc.) for transparency regarding project, and develop plans based on challenges in implementation of services
- Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization
- Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities
- Ensure the quality and integrity of team members and field work through training and monitoring
- Conduct routine site visits to cover all intervention sites each quarter
- Provide input into the conceptual direction of the primary care program, including contributions to writing appropriate grant applications
- Identify funding opportunities for public health research and activities
