  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline

Experience:

  • Minimum 15 – 20 years of related project experience including involvement in design and installation through to testing and commissioning of major conventional / high speed railway projects including GCC experience. Experience in Engineering, Design, Procurement / Manufacturing, Installation, T&C and management of Defect Notification Period.
  • Willingness to travel and relocate to client, or construction site locations is required.         

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Strong track record of managing large rail, projects with a systems background and coordinating with multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
  • Ability to communicate and report to senior management and effectively liaise with other stakeholders including, contractors, suppliers, engineers and regulatory authorities, in the introduction of new technologies.                                    
  • Take lead in all tasks assigned by the Rail Systems Director. Provide leadership in the resolution of all design and technical issues relating to the railway.
  • Assist and produce technical documents related to Rail Systems (design, tender documents, technical memo, Tender Evaluation, etc.).
  • Prepare presentations for Senior and Executive Management on all technical related matters.
  • Provide regular report updates on progress of resolution of all outstanding issues.
