- Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
Experience:
- Minimum 15 – 20 years of related project experience including involvement in design and installation through to testing and commissioning of major conventional / high speed railway projects including GCC experience. Experience in Engineering, Design, Procurement / Manufacturing, Installation, T&C and management of Defect Notification Period.
- Willingness to travel and relocate to client, or construction site locations is required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Strong track record of managing large rail, projects with a systems background and coordinating with multidisciplinary team of engineers and technicians.
- Ability to communicate and report to senior management and effectively liaise with other stakeholders including, contractors, suppliers, engineers and regulatory authorities, in the introduction of new technologies.
- Take lead in all tasks assigned by the Rail Systems Director. Provide leadership in the resolution of all design and technical issues relating to the railway.
- Assist and produce technical documents related to Rail Systems (design, tender documents, technical memo, Tender Evaluation, etc.).
- Prepare presentations for Senior and Executive Management on all technical related matters.
- Provide regular report updates on progress of resolution of all outstanding issues.
