Senior Counsel-Karachi

For Interactive Research & Development (IRD), Pakistan                    PKR 140,000 – PKR 175,000 (dependent on the years of experience) Qualification:

• Masters of Law                           

Experience:

• Minimum 5-6 year of relevant experience of legal, governance and business management and Proven experience of coordinating complex reports and presentations and Experience on litigation
• Substantial experience of review and dealing with contracts    

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible to provide overall assistance with contracts, grants and corporate affairs in preparing and administering various grants, contracts, letters and associated agreements/contracts.
• In addition, s/he will also support and assist the Governance officer relating to governance on a global level as well as Pakistan specific and also for countries, where IRD intends to establish as an entity. 
• Works with and provides legal and strategic advice to, staff throughout the Centre, at all levels. 
• Assists the Corporate Secretary and General Counsel in advising, and providing support to, Centre management and the Board of Governors on corporate governance matters.
