  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in any engineering, supply chain management or management discipline. 
  • Additional certification in procurement would be preferred

Experience:   

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience. Possess experience of ERP (SAP preferred), e-procurement and MS Office Applications.    

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Capable of conducting market research to ascertain products and suppliers, collaborate with key stakeholders to set-up long term call-out contracts. Able to develop contracts’ strategy with end users’ support. Able to effectively write contract terms and conditions. Able to manage high spent materials as well as procurement of services. Possess expertise in evaluating bids, negotiations and making recommendations based on commercial and technical evaluation. Capable of preparing and delivering presentation to Procurement Committee(s) for obtaining approvals.
  • Able to manage all internal and external audits related activities by resolving audit observations, implementation of recommendations and control. Develop procurement plans according to business requirements and identify opportunities for cost reduction / effectiveness. Ensure compliance with the company’s policy, regulatory requirements, and PPRA rules.
  • Able to arrange end user inspections and materials storage / stacking in compliance with materials handling and preservation procedures and ensure inventory management.  Possess excellent communication and negotiation skills and knowledge of Incoterms
