Senior Program Manager GIS

The Urban Unit, Planning & Development Board, Govt. of Punjab, Lahore                                                                                    Qualification:

• 16 years of qualification or higher in Geomatics / GIS / Geography / Space Science or related discipline from HEC recognized institution. OR
• 18 years of qualification or higher in Geomatics / GIS / Geography / Space Science or related discipline from HEC recognized institution. OR 
• PhD  in Geomatics / GIS / Geography / Space Science or related discipline from foreign institution

Experience:

• 07 Years of relevant experience in GIS/RS and Geo-spatial data management. OR
• 06 Years of relevant experience in GIS/RS and Geo-spatial data management. OR
• 0 to 04  Years of relevant experience in GIS/RS and Geo-spatial data management                    

Jobs Responsibilities:

• Develop various layers and structures for all spatial data and coordinate with various departments to integrate digital data into platforms efficiently.
• Provides technical guidance to project team leading, managing, handling, and supervising project team.
• Monitor all GIS associate technology, recommend improvements and assess all related protocols and functionality. Maintains expertise in GIS-related software and technologies. Assisting with formulating and reviewing GIS plans. Assisting in the design, development (implementation), and maintenance of the organization’s GIS. Analyze all digital images and provide efficient support for GIS-related data and supervise all development processes for various demographics and Understand other teams’ needs and design GIS applications in accordance.
• Create and maintain file structures necessary for GIS data storage  and Responsible for data storage and its regular backup and Reporting writing of assigned products and Designing maps that describe and interpret findings for the assigned projects.
• Analysis, interpretation and maintenance of spatial data.
