Specialist Infrastructure

The Urban Unit, Planning & Development Board, Govt. of Punjab, Lahore     Age: 18 to 65 years                                              Qualification:

• BS (Hons) in Civil Engineering from reputable and HEC recognized university. OR       
• Masters in urban Infrastructure Planning and Designing, Civil Engineering, or related field from a reputable HEC recognized university.    

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Urban Infrastructure projects, designing and managing municipal infrastructure projects OR
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in Urban Infrastructure projects, designing and managing municipal infrastructure projects

Jobs Responsibilities:

• Provide knowledge support including presentation of regional best practices including environmental and social best practices.
• Provide technical support for the Punjab Affordable Housing Program and contribute to the identification of major factors influencing the strategy development as well development of new schemes, focusing on transportation links, quality of urban infrastructure (including environmental infrastructure), and the quality of the urban environment.
• Assess the current and expected demand for urban infrastructure (including environmental infrastructure) and services in proposed housing schemes in Punjab and make broad estimates of financing requirements.
• Provide inputs in formulation of location and infrastructure investment criteria and procedures for PAHP housing schemes Assist in preparing the regulations such as Condominium Act, Real Estate Regulatory Act and Land Use and Zoning Regulations.
• Liaison with, and oversee quality and timeliness of engineering firms (consultants) deliverables regarding design and development of municipal infrastructure networks for PAHP housing schemes.
