Specialist Urban Data Analytics

The Urban Unit, Planning & Development Board, Govt. of Punjab, Lahore     Age: 18 to 65 years                                              Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, Urban Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Data Analytics, and relevant fields, from a reputable HEC recognized university. OR
• Master’s degree in economics, Urban Economics, Econometrics, Statistics, Data Analytics, and relevant fields, from a reputable HEC recognized university

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in applied research and data analytics within private and public sectors related to urban data, housing, and relevant disciplines.
• Experience in donor-funded projects and assignments relevant to housing and urban sector will be preferred. OR  
• Minimum 6 years of experience in applied research and data analytics within private and public sectors related to urban data, housing, and relevant disciplines.
• Experience in donor-funded projects and assignments relevant to housing and urban sector will be preferred   

Jobs Responsibilities:

• Provide analytics and research support on urban areas: covering housing, mobility, environment, infrastructure, and socio-economic fabrics of the cities.
• Collect and analyze the Urban (including environmental and social baseline) data on regular basis with the help of primary surveys, secondary sources, and government/departmental reports.
• Critically analyze and assess economic research and arguments presented by project partners, stakeholders, and others. Actively engage public and private sector decision-makers in one- on-one meetings, group briefings, and other venues to persuade them of analytically based recommendations.
