Experience:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in server management (windows OS based) including system design, performance, reliability, storage, backups, virtualization, security & optimization.                                                                                         

Jobs Description:

• MS windows-based GIS server machines management at Primary and DR Sites.
• Define policies, procedures and SOPs for GIS server machines management.
• Close coordination with IT department for all operations of GIS systems through defined procedures and SOPs.
• Capacity planning of GIS server machines for file data, database and applications.
• Monitor system performance, reporting, optimization and troubleshooting.
• Ensure reliability and high availability of system.
• Planning and assurance of regular backups for file data, database and applications systems on tapes and in live environment. Creating and maintaining windows based virtualize environment through.
• Ensure security through access controls (permissions and user accounts) and firewalls.
• Ensure installation of windows server upgrades & patches on regular and need basis.
• Hardware and software support for GIS team at desktop level on need basis.
