Qualification:
- Minimum 16 years of education preferably masters from a renowned HEC recognized university or institution / equivalent foreign degree holder preferably in Accounting, Finance, CA/ ACCA or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum 6-8 years of professional experience, preferably at a fintech start up or a large national / multinational organization with at least 3-6 years of demonstrated related functional experience. Proven experience in compliance roles within the financial services or fintech industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and frameworks
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive compliance strategies to ensure adherence to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Act as the focal person on behalf of the company for State Bank of Pakistan, facilitating all queries and audits from SBP.
- Ensure the partners and systems meet the regulatory compliance requirements. Ensure the reports submission and reconciliations at a pre-agreed frequency are as per the regulators’ requirements and Report to Senior Management promptly on any material incidents of noncompliance.
- Implement proactive and efficient compliance monitoring systems tailored to the scale and pace of a startup operation.
- Develop risk management strategies to safeguard the company’s interest and Prepare the team for audits, ensuring readiness to demonstrate compliance effectiveness in our dynamic startup setting
