- Recognized qualification in Naval Architecture, Engineering or Equivalent Mechanical studies
Experience:
- Knowledge in design and maintenance of working vessels such as rescue boats, ferries, Yachts, warships and merchant ships, passenger liners, cargo ships, offshore drilling installations & platforms
- Intimate working knowledge of AutoCAD, Solid works or equivalent software package
- Experience with Microsoft Office Package.
- Experience in managing works/projects
Job Description:
- Preparation of design deliverables such as drawings, calculations & reports
- Ensure that designs comply with the relevant codes, Standards, Rules, Class Regulations and Procedures
- Review and Quality Control of engineering documents in accordance with Quality Management System
- Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the change control procedure
- Monitor the progress and adhere to scheduled completion of engineering documents.
- Evaluate installations to ensure that the design and working objectives are met
