- Bachelors’ of Engineering / Master of Engineering / Diploma
Experience:
- Experience as a Structural Engineer in a fabrication environment. Proficient in Revit AutoCAD RAM Structural System and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in Risa 2D, Risa 3D, SAP 2000.
- Experience in the structural analysis and design of structural projects preferred.
- Experience in ETABS, is preferred but not required.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily execution of the tendering process, reviews and analysis of company risks associated with each tender, accountable for the collation and submission of the tender proposals in accordance with client Invitation to Tender (ITT) requirements and Responsible to obtain quotations for materials & machines from different vendors.
- Negotiate terms with vendors and engage them for long term mutually beneficial business relationship.
- Confirming Purchase orders, Generating LPO & liaison with Finance for clearing Funds.
- Obtaining Feedback from stores on receipt & quality of materials / equipment. Mobilizing & de-mobilizing sites
- Tracking site material consumption.
- Demand Planning for each category.
- Enter and monitoring the data in computerized system.
- Arranging Materials for inspection & certification purposes and Managing supplier files/records.
- Responsible to prepare weekly / monthly / yearly reports and send to all concerned parties.
- Well versed with materials related to interior turnkey works such as building materials, Steel Fabrication .and special items as required.
- Have strong and recent database of suppliers and subcontractors to source materials/works for in Steel Fabrication and Negotiating and administration of local purchases, hired skilled workers and subcontract works and Ensure all invoices/bills of contractors and suppliers to be pre-approved by the cost control and immediate reporting manager.
- Ensure all purchases are done subsequent to an order confirmation related to the project, and as instructed.
