National Telecommunication & Information Security Board (NTISB) open merit Qualification:
- Minimum 16x years having major in Cyber Security / Network Security / Information Security / Computer Science / Computer / Electrical Engineering / telecom Engineering / Information Assurance, etc.
- CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, HCNA, JNCIE etc. and relevant certifications will be a plus
Experience:
- Minimum 10 Years of Experience of which 6 Years in relevant field. Support LAN, WAN and telecommunication infrastructure.
- Maintain Network documentation and Supervise all Assistant Network Engineers and Interns.
- Ensure that all IT equipment complies with industry standards. Suggesting and providing IT solutions to business and management problems.
- Expert in Microsoft Server 2003/ 2008 / 2012 Server administration and Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Domain Controller
- Experienced in VPN and Firewall configuration and management and Experienced in Virtualization using Microsoft Hyper-V, Oracle VirtualBox, and VMware ESXi and Working knowledge of VEEAM Backup applications etc. and Knowledge of Installation & configurations of Routers, Switches & wireless devices
- Implementing and monitoring network security.
- Microsoft Server 2012R2/2016 Good time management and troubleshooting skills.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Acts as resource person for the Deputy Director (ICT) on the functional matters related to the Network Administration and Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
- Install and maintain network hardware and software. Analyze and isolate issues
- Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users and Evaluate and modify system’s performance and Identify user needs
- Determine network and system requirements
- Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security and Design and deploy networks Perform network address assignment
- Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration and Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
- Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers and Maintain network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems
- Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches
