  • Minimum 16x years having major in Cyber Security / Network Security / Information Security / Computer Science /Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Telecom Engineering / Information Assurance, etc. 
  • PMP and relevant certifications will be a plus.
  • The CISSP accreditation would also be beneficial. 

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 Years of Experience of which 6 Years in relevant field with a high aptitude for security technology, specifically encryption, authentication, with further knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN and WAN being desirable. 
  • Are currently or have previously worked in a pre-sales engineer role, managing end to end technical aspects of deals, through to technical closure.
  • Can demonstrate your problem-solving skills and how this has impacted key wins within your current organization. 
  • Understand and demonstrate ability to build and maintain customer relationships, including your ability to effectively communicate technically to a range of both external and internal stakeholders. 
  • Have a strong understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES       
  • Windows and Linux server OS knowledge is a MUST.  System administration (setups / patching / troubleshooting).  
  • Server rebuilds, experience with Windows Server 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019s.
  • Working knowledge of Azure, AWS and Century Link Cloud and Working networking knowledge of Express Routes used by Azure and Direct Connect by AWS.  
  • Develop and Implement BCP and Back up planning.
  • Excellent Group policy, DFS, AD, DNS, DHCP knowledge is a MUST.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensures a high quality program of support in the CERT Card office by directly supervising the selection, training, and evaluation of CERT office staff. 
  • Ensures that information technology agreements managed by Computer Services are renewed, maintained, and monitored for compliance and tracks the inventory of information technology managed by Computer Services.
  • Compliant with standards and available financial resources Serves as the liaison with distributed information technology organizations and leads IT service management (ITSM) and shared IT service initiatives, including chairing regular meetings with IT staff to review, assess, and suggest improvements to technology standards, functions, and services and ensures that information technology staff have access to timely and effective incident and service management, patch management, software update management, and configuration management solutions and Actively seeks grant opportunities and develops and submits grant proposals.
  • Controls access to campus host computers by managing the distribution of new computer accounts and assisting with management of the account preservation and restoration process.
  • Manages small and large information technology projects that impact, by initiating, tracking, executing, and controlling cross-functional and cross-divisional teams and creates, maintains, and distributes communications ranging from highly technical to high-level executive summaries  
  • Provides ongoing technical expertise, knowledge, and understanding of complex licensing agreements, policies and procedures related to information technology.
