VMWare Infrastructure Administrator (VP)-ZTBL, Islamabad

• Bachelor / 16 years of education in IT, Computer science duly recognized by HEC. Candidates with VMWare Certification VCAP-DCV will be preferred.    

Experience:

• Minimum 10-years post-qualification relevant professional experience on a comparable position
• Technical Experience: Strong knowledge and experience in VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere ESXi, vCenter vRealize, SRM and related components.
• Should have hands-on experience of system hardening and other security Standards related to VMware infrastructure.
• Knowledge of any enterprise level backup solution & LTO Tape library administration & management.  

Job Responsibilities: 

• Design, implement, and maintain the VMware virtualization infrastructure, including VMware vSphere, vCenter, ESXi hosts, SRM and related components.
• Implement and maintain security controls, patches, and updates for VMware infrastructure in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with VMware support and other relevant vendors to escalate and resolve critical issues, manage SLAs and stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices.
