- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or network/system administration. Hands-on experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and endpoint troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, networking protocols, and basic cyber security principles.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- IT Asset Management: Maintain detailed records of IT assets (laptops, desktops, LEDs, printers, etc.). Ensure inventory is regularly updated and reconciled with physical assets. Track licenses, domains, antivirus subscriptions, and other software.
- User On-boarding and Support: Set up laptops and configure accounts for new employees. Install the required software and apply the necessary licenses. Provide timely technical support via phone, email, in-person, or remote tools. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on endpoints, servers, and peripherals. Address infrastructural issues, identify network bottlenecks, and suggest improvements. Provide timely technical support via phone, email, in-person, or remotely.
- Network and Server Management: Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, access points). Monitor network performance and implement necessary security measures. Perform firmware updates and apply security patches to ensure network health. Meeting Room & AV Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and support AV equipment, conferencing systems, and PA systems in meeting rooms. Ensure seamless operation of LEDs and other audio-visual equipment. Preventive Maintenance: Execute Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities according to the defined schedule. Maintain server rooms and critical equipment in optimal condition. Documentation and Reporting: Create and update technical documentation, system configurations, and procedures. ERP Management functional and technical. Vendor Coordination: Liaise with vendors for procurement, repairs, and resolution of technical queries. Ensure timely support and delivery of IT-related services.
