  • Minimum Degree B SC / BE in Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

  • 9+ years of experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industries.  
  • Skills: Vibration analyst certificate minimum Level-III  is must. Machinery lubricant analyst certificate (MLA) minimum level I is a must. Ultrasound technique (US) level I is preferable.Infrared thermography analyst certified level I  is preferable. Online Analysis System such as System-1 is a must. Online Analysis System such as Prognost NT& predictor is preferable and Familiar with vibration analysis software Emerson is preferable                                                                          

Roles & Requirements:

  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
  • Develop, Review, improvise/optimize Condition
  • Monitoring & Preventive maintenance program for Rotary Equipment of Petrochemical complex.
  • Develop, review & improvise predictive maintenance & Condition Monitoring procedures  
  • Collect, review & Analyze condition monitoring data from offline & on-line systems & issue recommendations/Reports
  • Carry out In-site balancing of Rotors & witness shop balancing of rotors as per best practices & standards
  • Identify and address frequently recurring problems within levels of expertise and experience, reaching solutions, for senior review prior to implementation, through standard procedures and professional knowledge.
  • Prepare the TPC Condition Monitoring report for rotating equipment on monthly basis  
  • Conduct Reliability studies of rotating equipment for improvement including management of changes (MOC) technical evaluation for condition monitoring tools & sensors enhancement Acquire data from a diversity of sources, and carry out analyses as an input to problem resolution and trend analysis Issues periodic reports demonstrating assets health condition in a simple & easy structure to allow customers (maintenance personnel) to fully understand & utilize Ensure strict compliance with all approved HSE procedures and practices in order to afford protection to life, property and the environment
  • Carry out shop balancing for large rotors on balancing machine at workshop works closely with maintenance staff and advise on preventative & predictive maintenance procedures and develop and improve the technical & predictive maintenance skills.
  • Conduct the commissioning activities for new installed equipment with reference to international standards and codes and performs other duties such as maintaining work records and vibration history logs, attending regular meetings with Maintenance and Rotating team.
  • Review the major overhauling scope of work, identify the hold points & prepare the checklist  
  • Provide first-line supervision and act as a technical reference point for fresh and are rotating engineers and assigned C.M specialists and monitor progress to ensure completion of tasks to time and quality standards.
  • Ensures Machinery name plate data and historical data is available and of good quality.
  • Troubleshooting of Rotary Equipment problems & recommending corrective measures Keeps a track of “Equipment under Alert” list for assigned plant area. Establishes proper storage of the Equipment report and data  
  • Provides on the spot analysis for the collected data to identify the root cause, severity and hence decides the priority level for the corrective task related to each individual problem and hence ensures the work orders include all these data with clear corrective actions
