Gynecologist Field Job-POL

• MBBS and MCPS/ FCPS 

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a reputable organization. Skills: Patients Care, Problem Solving. Infection Control and written & Verbal communication             

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Morning round with all consultants and evening rounds independently. Consultation of all private obs/gynae patients directly in morning OPD. Consultation of POL obs/gynae patients directly or referred through RMO or consultants.
• Round the clock on call for booked/ non booked and emergency obs/gynae cases.
• Independently deal all labour room activities including SVDS, instrumental deliveries, evacuation of uterus without anesthesia, insertion of IUCD, repair of perineal tears due to non-obstetric causes.
• Independently deal all major minor operative cases of obs/gynae. Directly in liaison with outside senior gynecologists for POL patients who needs obs/gynae consultations.
• Training of LHV, staff nurses, lady RMOs, regarding history taking in OPDS, obs/gynae ultrasounds, physical examination, labouring patients monitoring, svds and instrumental deliveries.
• Pre and post op care, Hospital rules and policies and clinical presentations. Put up daily gynae report to CMO regarding no of pvt opd pts, ultrasound, POL gynae patients, iron and other infusions, ctgs, details of pt retained for observation, details of patients admitted and discharged.
• Report all emergency situations, like need of anesthetist from outside, referral of neonates or obs/gynae patient, arranging transport for LHV/OT technician /outside anesthetist immediately to CMO.
• Report Hospital Administrator about all outside OPD consultations, investigation sent and result received day to day progress in operative cases, post discharge checkups and plans of all obs/gynae patients.
