- 3-year diploma of associate engineering in mechanical technology.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the oil and gas sector. Possess hands on experience in maintenance of gas engines and multistage reciprocating compressors using safe techniques as per OEM recommendations.
- Experience in maintenance of Waukesha engines and ariel compressors will be preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Able to execute corrective and preventive maintenance jobs related to gas engines, reciprocating compressors and other rotary equipment e.g., gearboxes, fans, pumps etc.
- Able to diagnose and resolve all maintenance issues, particularly for engines and compressors.
- Capable of conducting periodic overview for mechanical spares and warehouse stocks.
- Able to understand and apply standard maintenance procedures as mentioned by OEM in relevant maintenance manuals. Capable of executing maintenance activities by following company procedures and work instructions, complying with Permit to Work system.
- Able to apply failure analysis techniques in determining root cause to avoid recurrence.
