By Institute of Business Administration, Karachi Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (CS) or Information Technology (IT) or Software Engineering (SE), or a related field from an HEC recognized University/Institute.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of work experience. Preferably in education environment.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCIES:
- Customer focused approach to troubleshooting.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Tagging and inventory monitoring of new items.
- Implementing, and complying to operational standards and escalation procedures to ensure service levels are maintained at a consistent level. Document, track, and monitor problems to ensure resolution in a timely manner.
- Act as site engineer to directly provide the technical support within the stipulated time and ensure the satisfaction of the complainant with user satisfaction. Able to provide solutions and fixes via telephonic support, e-mail, etc. Installation and configuration of hardware / software in official computers of IBA.
- Resolve network issues. Join new devices to Network in coordination with ICT Operations team. Escalate the problem to relevant level according to the severity.
- Maintain record of daily complaints.
- Must be familiar with basic operations and technical concepts of network switches / IP phones etc.
- Resolve the complaint in a timely and efficient manner and report to immediate supervisor. Troubleshooting technical issues.
- Diagnosing and repairing faults.
- Talk to the end users (complainants) to quickly get to the root of their problem. Support the roll-out of new applications.
