Senior Officer / Assistant Manager International Procurement

• Minimum: 16 years of Education with bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering / supply chain or business administration, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Geology, Geophysics, supply chain management, project management, and Finance

Experience:

• At least 7 years’ post qualification relevant experience in supply chain and procurement domain in international, government, semi-government or large commercial organizations of repute preferably functioning in Oil and Gas sector
• Communications & Working Relationships:  Internal: Sales & Marketing Department, Technical Department and Finance Department External: LNG Suppliers and Commercial Consultants   

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Strategic Contribution: Act as the coordinator point for LNG suppliers’ management. Manage the tender process, from tender preparation, tender floating, bid evaluation, awarding of bid, to contract sign off.
• Compliance and Control: Ensure mandatory compliance with PPRA rules, where applicable. Monitor effective scheduling and delivery of LNG cargoes under respective contracts.
• Operations: Contract management of all LNG Procurement contracts. Manage the tender processes conducted as per PPRA Rules, where applicable. Provide clarity to the prospective bidders and evaluation of technical and financial bids. Coordination with LNG suppliers for any change in the delivery schedule, either emanating from downstream demand or supplier’s loading facility issues. Prepare the load port and discharge port reports. Scheduling delivery windows for delivery of LNG cargoes. Draft responses to the letters received from the Ministry regarding status/details of LNG imports
