Roles & Responsibility:

  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of ATM, POS, e-commerce, mobile banking, internet banking, and interbank (1LINK, NIFT, PayPak) transactions and reconcile settlement entries. Monitor suspense and settlement accounts and ensure prompt clearance of pending entries.
  • Maintain records of settlement activities, including end-of-day reports and adjustment logs. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly internal MIS related to digital transaction volumes, settlement trends, and exceptions.
  • Generate dashboards and reports for senior management, audit, finance, and operations teams.
  • Track service level adherence, transaction success/failure rates, and unresolved cases. Compile and submit regulatory reports to State Bank of Pakistan as per prescribed formats and schedules (e.g., ATM Downtime Reports, Failed Transactions, Settlement Delays).
  • Ensure compliance with all SBP reporting guidelines and support audit and inspection process.
  • Maintain audit trails and supporting documentation for submitted reports ‌Coordinate with cross-functional departments to resolve settlement or reporting-related issues.
  • Ensure all processes comply with internal SOPs, SBP directives, and card scheme requirements.
