  • 0 to 3 years experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and attendants in a professional, compassionate manner, guiding them on admission and discharge policies.
  • Manage the complete patient admission process, including arranging rooms, reviewing documents, and collecting the required deposits.
  • Prepare accurate medical bills, provide cost estimates for complex cases, and resolve patient billing queries during their stay.
  • Handle all financial transactions, including collecting payments and processing refunds via cash, cheque, or credit card, and issuing receipts immediately. Ensure all cash collected is safely deposited to the accounts department on a daily basis before signing off from duty.
  • Supervise and facilitate the daily functions of the admission, billing, and discharge sections to ensure smooth operations.
  • Review complex or adjusted bills before they are finalized, and coordinate with auditors to correct any post-discharge errors.
  • Lead responsibility for the review and recovery of all outstanding payments from discharged patient cases.
  • Register new patients in the Emergency Room (ER), prepare their medical files, and review bills prepared by ER staff.
  • Review the daily operating theater (OT) list and counsel patients on financial matters where required.
