- General Nursing Diploma (03 Years)/ BSc-N/ MSc-N
Experience:
- 8 to 10 years experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Able to hold the position within context of professional nursing practice, patient care, operational, financial, human resource management, quality improvement and leadership.
- Assess staff learning needs as per their performances.
- Shuffle staff within the OPD/IPD setting when required.
- Initiative and creative in departmental management and staff professional development.
- Demonstrate expertise in staff mentoring, special projects, clinical pathways. Arrange and facilitate in regular scheduled staff meetings with clear pre circulated agenda that allows staff input and open discussion. Respond quickly and appropriately in conflict or crises situation. Ensure that services provided are respectful of patient’s values and beliefs. Ensure compliance of Infection Control Practices, safe patient care practices & hand hygiene practices.
- Conduct training need assessment and participates in the nurse-training programs as and when required.
- Perform role of educator to coach new staff/orient them within IPD.
- Evaluate performance of all staff and acts as a resource person for them by guiding them appropriately. Plan audit in assigned areas.
- Act as internal auditor. Oversee compliance of staff to infection control practices, safe patient care practices and hand hygiene practices.
