- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in accounting principles.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within the Qatar or GCC region, providing regional expertise.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems, ensuring technical competency.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and Qatar tax regulations, ensuring compliance and accurate financial reporting.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Record and verify daily sales transactions accurately.
- Prepare and reconcile sales and revenue reports.
- Handle customer invoicing and follow up on payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable and maintain aging reports.
- Process discounts, credit notes, and sales returns.
- Support the Sales team with data and reports for decision-making.
- Ensure all sales entries comply with VAT and accounting standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order-to-cash operations.
