Senior Oracle Database Administrator-SBP, Karachi

State Bank of Pakistan, Karachi                                                              Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (16 years of education) in IT, Computer Science/Systems, Computer / Electrical / Electronic / Engineering / Information Systems / AI/Data Sciences or relevant field from HEC recognized domestic or from a reputable foreign university.
• Candidates with relevant Certifications in Oracle Development Tracks will be preferred. 

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience of: Oracle DBA and Application Administration including Installations, DB Design, Configurations, Performance Tuning, Integrations, Backup, Recovery, Monitoring, Logging, Migrations, Clustering, DR Setups and Upgrades.
• Candidates with working experience on Oracle ERP based implementations will be preferred. Working experience on Linux and Windows Servers.          

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform Database and Application Installation, Design, Configurations and Administration on Production, Development and Testing DB and Application Environment on Linux or Windows Operating System on On-Prem and Cloud environment.
• Performance Tuning, Backup Management, Recovery and Optimization. Monitoring, Logging and configuring security parameters. Setup and perform DR Drills.
• Provide necessary support to Application Development and Operations Teams. Undertake and complete any other technology/IT systems related task/s assigned by the superior.
