IT Security & Compliance Officer-SBP, Karachi

State Bank of Pakistan, Karachi                                                              Qualification:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (with a minimum of 16 years of education) in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Information Systems / Computer Systems / Computer Engineering / Telecom Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronics Engineering or relevant field from HEC recognized domestic or from a reputable foreign university.   

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience               

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and compliance in line with known industry standards like ISO 27001, ITIL, NIST, CIS Benchmarks.
• Coordinate security penetration testing and provide advisories support by assisting in risk assessments, compliance gap analysis, and mitigation.
• Maintain working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and network domains for troubleshooting and compliance verification.
• Working knowledge of solution like DLP, FIM, SIEM, Email gateway, Anti-malware. Support and administer IT Asset Management (ITAM) processes, including asset discovery, classification, inventory reconciliation, and lifecycle management.
• Generate and maintain periodic reports including pertaining to IT security, vulnerabilities, compliance status, and IT asset inventory and any other for management review.
• Working knowledge of the Change Management process to support smooth implementation of IT changes with minimal business disruption. Support in IT audits, ensuring availability of compliance evidence for IT policies, security standards, and change procedures.
• Prepare patch management reports covering IT Infrastructure, Business Systems, and End-User devices for management review
