- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related discipline.
Experience:
- 5 – 10 years’ experience including minimum 5+ years’ experience in Spare Parts & Interchangeable Records (SPIR) coordination within oil & gas, petrochemical, or power sectors. Experience in contractor coordination, work planning, and daily progress reporting. Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards, painting systems, and insulation materials/practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings, P&IDs, and specifications.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all SPIR activities (Scaffolding, Painting, Insulation) across site to ensure timely execution. Review work requests, drawings, and method statements for SPIR-related jobs.
- Allocate manpower, materials, and equipment for scaffolding, painting, and insulation work.
- Ensure all scaffolding structures are inspected and comply with safety standards (OSHA/EN/Company procedures).
- Monitor painting and insulation work for quality, thickness, and specification compliance.
- Maintain records of scaffolding inventory, inspection reports, painting/insulation logs, and daily progress.
- Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
- Coordinate with maintenance, operations, HSE, and procurement teams for material and schedule requirements.
- Report unsafe conditions, delays, or deviations, and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Support shutdowns/turnarounds by planning SPIR work, estimating manpower, materials, and timelines.
