By Yokogawa Middle East & Africa BSC Qualification:
- BS/BE/MS/ME degree in chemical engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years work experience in the field of Advanced Process Control. 5 to 10 years’ of experience including hands on experience for commissioning APC Controllers in Refining, Petrochemical and Polymer process units.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Ability to identify the potential areas and benefits for applying Advanced Process Control for various process units and specify the hardware/software architecture to carry out APC implementation.
- Carry out APC & MVC implementations starting from Control Definition, Functional Design Specifications, Plant Testing, Detailed Engineering, Modeling of Controller and Estimator, Site Integration, SAT, Commissioning, Post Audit and PGTR.
- Provide maintenance support including carrying out modifications to the Control strategies to ensure higher APC up time and carry out the required APC training to plant operators & engineers
