ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ACCOUNTING COORDINATOR-Mexico City, Mexico

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

Experience:

• Experience in Accounting in the oil and gas industry, specifically in exploration and production.
• Strong understanding of information technology and computer applications.
• Experience with all aspects of accounts payable and affiliate receivable transactions.
• Experience regarding contract and purchase order pricing verification.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of intercompany and affiliate company transactions.
• Reviewing and processing affiliate billings monthly.
• Reviewing affiliate invoices denominated in foreign currency (i.e., peso, Euro, USD, etc.) to ensure proper recording of foreign exchange loss/gain. 
• Monitoring the recording of affiliate cash payments and collection of affiliate accounts receivable. Monitoring the contract and purchase order invoice pricing verification.
• Supervising the records filing and retention. Analyzing and controlling of costs (Cost Centers, Accounting Accounts, etc.).
