National Telecommunication & Information Security Board (NTISB)   open merit                                                   Qualification:

  • Minimum 16x years having major in Cyber Security / Network Security / Information Security / Computer Science / Computer / Electrical Engineering / telecom Engineering / Information Assurance, etc. 
  • PMP and relevant certifications will be a plus
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
  • Technical expertise in analyzing threat event data, evaluating malicious activity, documenting unusual files and data, and identifying tactics, techniques and procedures used by attackers.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 Years of Experience of which 6 Years in relevant field. Desired, but not required:
  • Familiarity with business needs and commitment to delivering high-quality, prompt and efficient service to the business.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities, with a proven ability to weigh the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and identify the most appropriate one. An understanding of organizational mission, values, and goals and consistent application of this knowledge.
  • Strong problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
  • Self-motivated and possessing of a high sense of urgency and personal integrity.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements IT policies, coordinates processes and procedures, and prepares operating data and special reports as required.
  • Develops and maintains IT systems architecture and defines the standards and protocols for data exchange, communications, software, and interconnections.
  • Establishes, coordinates and administers an adequate plan for the control of operations including IT training and technical support together with the necessary controls and procedures to effectuate the plan.
  • Provides advice on evaluation, selection, implementation and maintenance of information systems, ensuring appropriate investment in strategic and operational systems.
  • Negotiates all IT acquisition contracts, soliciting involvement and participation of other management team members as appropriate.
  • Ensures that enterprise information systems operate according to internal standards, external accrediting agency standards, and legal requirements.  
  • IT reviews and endorses strategic IT plans, budget proposals, and proposed changes.
  • Ensures all personnel are appropriately trained in the usage of all IT products and services in order to effectively carry out their job.
  • Assures protection for the information assets of the business through internal control, internal auditing, IT security, recovery procedures and assuring proper insurance coverage.
  • Develops and maintains a business IT recovery plan to ensure timely and effective restoration of IT services in the event of a disaster.
  • Manages the IT department team members across all areas of training and support, operations, and project management.  
  • Serves on the Security and Compliance Team.
