Experience:

• Minimum 05 years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Chemical or Petrochemical industry.
• Experience of motors repair and maintenance.
• Skills: Sound knowledge and skills for operation, maintenance and synchronization of Gensets of Power House.
• Sound knowledge and skills for the maintenance and troubleshooting of Generators, Transformers, HT/LT Switch Gears, Motor Starters and VFD etc.
• Sound knowledge of parameters related to power generation and Genset.  Extensive knowledge about energy meters, energy auditing and reconciliation, installation and maintenance. Sound understanding of safety standards and procedures related to power house operations and Oil and Gas sector.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Installation commissioning & repairing of VFDs.
• Installation and maintenance of HT (11 kv) and LT (440v) overhead lines. Repair / maintenance of transformers and motor rewinding. Operation and maintenance of captive power plant. Understanding of equipment for hazardous areas classification. Maintenance records, documentation and report writing of electrical equipment.
• Perform maintenance of Motors, Generators, Transformer and Electrical systems. Perform maintenance of electrical switch gear and substation. Identify, investigate and rectify electrical breakdowns or tripping. Diagnose the facts and root cause of emergencies and prepare mitigation plans.
• Prepare and manage preventive maintenance plans of electrical system. Re-ordering levels of parts in hand for emergencies and preventive and routine maintenance.
• Identify and manage the resources required for the project.
• Maintain files, logs and drawings for all designated electrical equipment. Understand transmission and electrical diagrams, load flow diagrams, wiring diagrams, panel drawings, and single line  drawings.
