  • MBA Marketing / Sales / Master’s degree or 16 years education in relevant field

Experience:

  • 8 years’ experience in Business Development of Marine and Air Service and Associated Logistics Products

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to generate business as per product portfolio and follow target KPIs. Perform purely in a core job role of Business Development to retain and bring new sales for the organization. Maintain direct customer portfolio those are assigned for regular contact as per criteria of all products.
  • Maintain all records of customer’s inquiries on prescribed manner with transparency of business deals.
  • Timely manage quotations and provide prompt response to customers in most professional manner.
  • Maintain sales pipeline at least 5 times of the Gross Profit Targets in concept of 20% win ratio. Follow regular visit plans and provide brief/debrief on daily basis. 
  • Provide complete sales support and customer services in coordination with product team pre and post shipment until completion of each job. 
  • Negotiate business terms both internally with product team/sales and externally as bridge to close the deal.
  • Maintain the right portfolio of customer base, which include exiting customers, target customers and the list of known potential from market intelligence.
  • Overall responsible to have effective sales planning with quality sales activities to generate positive business activities and responsible to record all these activities/events according to departmental structure and reporting mechanism and overall maintain and develop good relationship with customers over telephone calls and emails along with regular visit cycle.
  • Realization of timely sales within approved credit limits is required to maintain the cash flow; liaison with finance team regularly and responsible to perform any other task / campaign / assignment / reports which can be assigned by relevant manager related to key functions of this job role.
