Job Description:
- Assist in overseeing the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, network devices, and computer systems.
- Monitor and manage server backups, disaster recovery plans, and data protection protocols. Supervise and provide second-level technical support to IT staff and end-users.
- Troubleshoot system errors, application bugs, network outages, and hardware failures. Ensure system security and user access management in compliance with institutional policies.
- Lead and guide IT support staff, assign tasks, and monitor performance. Conduct periodic training sessions for staff and faculty on new tools or policies. Maintain documentation of IT procedures, asset inventory, and support logs.
- Assist in planning and implementing IT projects such as campus automation, smart classrooms, and digital transformation.
- Ensure timely execution of IT tasks during admissions, exams, and major university events.
- Contribute to IT strategy development and infrastructure upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with IT security standards, data privacy laws, and internal IT policies.
