Associate Professor / Assistant Professor, Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences-Karachi

Medical College, The Aga Khan University                                    Qualification:

• completed postgraduate training with FCPS, FRCOphth, American Board or equivalent and subsequent clinical, teaching and research experience. 
• Clinical subspecialty fellowship training will be an asset                                              

Experience:

• at least three years of experience (for Assistant Professor) and eight years of experience (for Associate Professor) in teaching/research in a HEC recognized University with five years’ post-terminal experience of teaching  
• registered or be eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan (CPSP)                                                                                        

Job Responsibilities:

• devote a substantial portion of time and effort to clinical and/or basic translational research and apply for intra and extramural grants    
• mentor and train other faculty as well as learners to enhance their research capacity  serve as a member/leader of department/hospital/university committees related to research  teach undergraduate, postgraduate, graduate other health professional students
